Irena Zeitz

Urodziła sie we Lwowie w rodzinie muzyków. Swoje muzyczne wykształcenie rozpoczynała jako pianistka, kończąc z wyróżnieniem Konserwatorium we Lwowie.Kontynuacją były studia organowe. W 1989 otrzymała dyplom laureata Międzynarodowego konkursu Organowego w Kijowie.W 1990 kontynuowała studia organistowskie na Akademii Muzycznej w Krakowie w klasie prof. Jana Jargonia, następnie w Bazylei w klasie mistrzowskiej Guy Boveta, gdzie w 1994 otrzymała dyplom z wyróżnieniem. Dwa lata później Irena Zeitz ukończyła studia na Akademii Muzyki Kościelnej w Lucernie z dyplomem dyrygenckim.

Dopełnieniem jej szerokiego wykształcenia są liczne mistrzowskie kursy organowe u Jona Laukvika, Jeana Guillou i Marie-Klair Alain.

Od ponad siedemnastu lat artystka mieszka w Szwajcarii, jest organistka w Therwil (BL), pracując równocześnie jako pedagog i dyrygentka chóru.

Regularnie koncertuje w różnorodnych festiwalach w państwach Europy i USA. W rodzinnym mieście Lwowie działa jako organizator międzynarodowych festiwali i konferencji.

Irena Zeitz

She was born in Lvov in a family of musicians. She began her musical education as a pianist graduating with honours from the Conservatory in Lvov. She continued her education in organ at higher studies. In 1989 he was a laureate of the International Organ Competition in Kiev. In 1990 she continued her organ studies at the Academy of Music in Kraków under Prof. Jan Jargoń, and later in Basel in the master class of Guy Bovet where she graduated with honours in 1994. Two years later, Irene Zeitz completed studies at the Academy of Church Music in Lucerne receiving a diploma in conducting.
Her extensive education was enriched with numerous organ master class courses with Jon Laukvik, Jean Guillou and Marie- Klaire Alain.
She has been living in Switzerland for over seventeen years. She is an organist in Therwil (BL) and works as a teacher and choir conductor. She regularly performs at various festivals in Europe and the USA. In her hometown, Lvov, she is an active organizer of international festivals and conferences.
