Ukończył Akademię Muzyczną w Krakowie – w klasie organów prof. Jana Jargonia.
Od roku 1995 pełni funkcję I organisty w Kró­lewskiej Katedrze na Wawelu. Jako solista koncertuje regularnie w najważniejszych festiwalach w kraju i za granicą. Wystąpił m. in. w katedrze św. Patryka na Manhattanie w Nowym Jorku, Tokio Metroplitan Art Space, Nativity Church w Betlejem oraz w Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Rio de Janeiro, Toronto, Jerozolimie, Irkucku, Istambule i Moskwie. Jest wykładowcą w Międzyuczelnianym Instytucie Muzyki Kościelnej w Krakowie, gdzie prowadzi zajęcia z praktyki liturgicznej oraz organów. W roku 2012 otrzymał tytuł doktora sztuki. Od roku 1998 jest członkiem Komisji Muzyki Kościelnej Kurii Metropolitalnej w Krakowie. W czasie pielgrzymek papieskich pełnił rolę organisty. Zajmuje się propagowaniem muzyki organowej, poprzez współorganizowanie wielu festiwali i koncertów. W roku 2011 wyróżniony został przez papieża Benedykta XVI odznaczeniem "Proeclesia et Pontifice".

Witold Zalewski – agraduate from the Academy of Music in Krakow, he undertook organ classes conducted by Prof. Jan Jargoń. Since 1995 he has been the 1st organist at Krakow’s Wawel Royal Cathedral. As a soloist he regularly gives concerts at some of the most important festivals in Poland and abroad. He has performed at such places as St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York’s Manhattan, the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space, the Church of Nativity in Bethlehem as well as in Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Rio de Janeiro, Toronto, Jerusalem, Irkutsk, Istanbul and Moscow. He is a lecturer at the Intercollegiate Institute for Church Music in Krakow where he runs classes in liturgical practice and the organ. In 2012 he was awarded PhD in art. Since 1998 he has been a member of the Church Music Committee at the Metropolitan Curia in Krakow. He was the organist during papal pilgrimages. He is involved in the promotion of organ music as a co-organizer of numerous festivals and concerts. In 2011 he was honoured by Pope Benedict XVI with the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice medal.
